For the sake of good food and drinks, global unity and love is necessary. Think of your favorite foods, chances are that they did not originate anywhere near you. Many of us take advantage of the fusion cuisine that has been trending, which mixes different culinary styles within each dish. The same has happened with the beverages. Wine makers, brewers and distillers have been crafting pure excellence with the worldly knowledge that has become available. It is truly a blessing to have such a variety of food and drink available, especially in an area that we call home.
To get a sense of this global affect in a place that prides itself on the local experience one should wonder over to Evil Czech Brewery in Mishawaka and partake in their lightening lunch. This is a buffet style lunch where the chefs prepare a majority of the food items on the menu as well as spins offs of favorites. The food is served on small plates on a serving lane, waiting to be picked up sampled by a lucky eater. One would expect to see craft mac 'n' cheeses, sliders with unique toppings, delicious pizza slices with a variety of ingredients, soups, salads, IPA cheese fries, green bean fries, a range of sandwiches, quesadillas, tacos, and much much more. Along with great food they have an incredible beer and cocktail collection to wash it down with, all brewed and distilled locally. It is a great culinary experience, all at one stop, and at a reasonable price of $11.95 a person for the lightening lunch.

Thanks and enjoy.

An Introduction to my blog
This blog is a way for me to share my food and drink endeavors with interested people. I am a self-proclaimed food and drink connoisseur that was born and raised in the Michiana region. While I was born in Berrian Springs, Michigan I lived the majority of my 25 year old life in Mishawaka, Indiana. After experiencing the "there's nothing to do in this town" attitudes, I decided to make the most out of what the area has to offer. I realized that there is plenty to do around here, especially if you love to eat and drink as much as I do.
Thankfully the area has really begun to step up it's restaurant presence. In just a few short years the region has brought in many delicious eats and drinks ranging in categories from DTSB to the Lake Michigan Shores Wine Country. I would like to invite my fellow eaters and drinkers of all backgrounds and ages to help me cover some ground. While I try to experience much of the what the region has to offer, there is too much for me to try it all. Comment and share your thoughts on the local tastes and give other readers, as well as myself, recommendations to your favorite places, meals, and beverages. Tell me your likes, your dislikes, or just post pictures of your food, I would love to see it all.
Thanks and enjoy,
Joe
